About you

I'm a mid-pack racer of anything off-road, on two wheels and powered by pedals. I'm not competing for podiums at every race but I have been hooked on mountain biking in all its forms since my first race all the way back in 2000!

What brought you to cycling

A few kids at my primary school got into it so my brother and I went to a local winter XC race in Bangor to see what the fuss was about. We both found a good group of kids our age to race against over the coming years and now 25 years later it’s more a part of my life than ever!

Plans for 2025/2026

Ride more than ever! I'm hoping to do a bit more variety this year, riding some select Gravel events, some long-distance sportives on the road and the National XC series. In the summer, I hope to tackle some of the world's most famous climbs in the French Pyrenees, and I am tempted to finish the season in the South of France at the Roc d'Azur for the third year in a row.
